Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Deployment Cloud Support Engineer who is fluent in Spanish to join our dynamic team in Dublin, Ireland. As a member of the AWS Support team, you will be at the forefront of cloud technology, assisting a global list of companies and developers that are leveraging AWS services to run their mission-critical applications. You will act as a 'Cloud Ambassador' across all AWS products, equipping our customers with the necessary tools and tactics to maximize their investment in AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize cutting-edge cloud computing technologies to assist customers.
• Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customer needs.
• Collaborate with leading engineers worldwide to resolve customer issues.
• Partner with AWS teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues.
• Provide feedback to internal AWS teams to improve services.
• Drive customer communication during critical events.
• Lead projects that enhance support-related processes and customer experience.
• Create tutorials, how-to videos, and technical articles for the developer community.
• Address complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Experience in administration and troubleshooting for two or more of the following: DevOps, Deployment Orchestration, Configuration Management, Continuous Integration.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or containerization technologies.
• Understanding of hypervisor/virtualization and containerization.
• Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby, and/or PHP.
• Exposure to Virtualization technologies like Hyper-V, VMware, Xen.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Web and Application Server technologies (e.g., Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, Glassfish, JBoss, Puma, Passenger, IIS).
• Scripting or development experience using Python, Node.js/JavaScript, PowerShell, C# (.NET), Ruby, Golang.
• System Administration experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server.
• Networking technologies experience including DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, DHCP, and Load Balancing.
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools.
