Join Our Central DevOps Team
saas.group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Central DevOps Team. We are a global team, working remotely across 44 countries, and we manage the central infrastructure for saas.group and its brands. Our mission is to provide a set of central services, such as observability and backups, that our brands can utilize without managing them independently.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute infrastructure-related projects for saas.group brands, including maintenance, performance optimization, incident management, and migrations to Kubernetes.
- Assist brands with day-to-day infrastructure tasks, such as upgrades, deployments, and CI/CD pipeline configuration.
- Automate infrastructure processes, including provisioning and deployments.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure high availability, stability, and security for all applications.
- Optimize cloud costs and manage incidents effectively.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps/Platform Engineer or SRE.
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, Heroku, Digital Ocean, Hetzner).
- Knowledge of commercial and self-hosted observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, ELK, Prometheus).
- Experience with Cloudflare, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and IaC tools like Terraform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with Linux and relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB).
- Ability to code in modern scripting languages (Python, Ruby).
- Understanding of security best practices and experience with Git tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
