Job Overview
Meta is seeking experienced Senior Enterprise Engineers to join our Engineering team in Warsaw. This role involves building industry-leading, highly intuitive software that supports business functions across various domains such as Supply Chain, Finance, Compliance, Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, and Security. Our products set new standards in the enterprise software industry, influencing how our customers, both internal and external, engage with their daily work.
Responsibilities
- Own Product Architecture: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to set the technical direction and create software that optimizes business metrics.
- Communication and Strategy: Effectively communicate technology and product strategy to both internal and external stakeholders and leadership.
- Build and Maintain Systems: Develop industry-leading enterprise systems that are highly available, intuitive, scalable, and secure.
- Code Production and Reliability: Produce highly reliable and performant code with appropriate monitoring and alerting.
- System Analysis: Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
- Release Management: Follow release management policies to ensure data integrity, compliance, and system stability.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience building intuitive systems in Java, PHP, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience in understanding code bases, including API techniques.
- Experience building and supporting production-quality software.
- Experience owning projects from end-to-end.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and using service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Experience modeling data flows between systems to enable transactional workflows and upstream/downstream integrations.
- SQL experience in handling volumes of data, performance tuning.
