Vitalize Care is at the forefront of solving critical clinical operations challenges for health systems, focusing on optimizing staffing and scheduling. About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Founding Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves taking full ownership of product features that assist our early health system customers in operating more efficiently and addressing their workforce challenges.
Responsibilities
- Product Ownership: Collaborate with co-founders to develop product features for early customers and execute initial health system implementations. Drive feature development to enable rapid iteration, evolution, and scalability.
- Customer Engagement: Work closely with early customers to understand business requirements and build impactful features.
- Contribute to Roadmap: Balance trade-offs between speed, reliability, UX, and technical debt to meet cycle goals and long-term visions.
- Team Growth: Contribute to the growth of the engineering organization and help set the cultural direction.

Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Postgres, and Python.
- Experience with Next.js 14, TailwindCSS, Supabase, and Vercel.
- Passion for healthcare and startups is a plus.
- Experience with DevOps and AWS is beneficial.
Location
This position is based in San Francisco, CA, with options for hybrid work arrangements.
Compensation
- Salary: €140,000 - €180,000 per year
- Equity: 0.1% - 0.5%
