This is an exciting opportunity to work on the DHL User Interface Library (DUIL), a code-based library that empowers developers to create user interfaces using React, Vue.js, or Angular frameworks.
About the Role
As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will be a key member of our development team, working closely with UI/UX design and testing teams. You will be responsible for developing reusable components, design patterns, tokens, icons, and guidelines that promote consistency and efficiency in delivering standardized DHL websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the DHL User Interface Library (DUIL) using Angular, StencilJS, and other web development frameworks.
- Collaborate with UI/UX design and testing teams to ensure high-quality user interfaces.
- Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support.
- Utilize front-end testing frameworks such as Jest and Puppeteer to ensure code quality.
- Implement static code analysis tools like SonarQube or Fortify to maintain code integrity.
- Work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps to streamline development processes.
- Apply agile development methodologies to deliver projects efficiently.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.
- Proficiency in StencilJS and/or web development frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Deep experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Jest and Puppeteer.
- Experience with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube or Fortify.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and development teams.
- Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
