Join Our Team as a Senior Front-end Developer
At ABB, we are dedicated to addressing global challenges through technology and innovation. We are seeking a Senior Front-end Developer to join our newly created software team in Kraków. This team is focused on developing solutions and service applications for installed base management, assessment of substations, maintenance planning, and safety applications.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Front-end Developer, you will:
- Develop and maintain web-based applications with a particular focus on the front-end.
- Coordinate with the backend software development team on product development and develop the frontend part along with UI guidelines.
- Ensure high quality in the developed products with a great user experience.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from analysis, design, implementation, testing to delivery, following best DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners contributing to the design of applications, such as the UX Team.
- Contribute to Agile development.
- Prepare automatic unit and integration tests and technical documentation.
Qualifications for the Role
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in creating and maintaining web applications.
- Strong skills in TypeScript and React, with knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and Web REST API including security and performance.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and Agile Methodology.
- Hands-on experience in writing unit and integration tests for User Interface.
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services (must have) and Amazon Web Services (nice to have).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of Tailwind CSS and MUI (nice to have).
- Familiarity with Microsoft authentication library (MSAL) (nice to have).

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work both on-site and off-site.
