We are excited to invite applications for the position of Senior Front-End Software Engineer on a fixed-term contract basis. This role is part of our dynamic and innovative Engineering team at Zendesk QA, where we are committed to developing state-of-the-art customer service quality assurance solutions. Our mission is to build AI-driven tools that revolutionize how teams review and analyze customer interactions, ensuring consistent, high-quality support that reduces churn and boosts customer satisfaction.
About the Role
As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer, you will be a key player in our mission-driven development process, which operates on a 6-week cycle. You will enjoy a high level of independence and trust, allowing you to decide how to implement solutions effectively. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality code independently and in a timely manner.
- Collaborating closely with UX, design, and backend engineering teams to define requirements, interfaces, and deliverables.
- Creating and maintaining components in our in-house library.
- Performing code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Writing automated tests to ensure the robustness of our solutions.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience focused on front-end development.
- Exceptional understanding of modern JavaScript and frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and automated test frameworks like Cypress or TestCafe.
- A passion for creating smooth, well-thought-out interfaces.
- Comfort with remote work and excellent communication skills in English.
