Overview
Airbnb, a leader in the hospitality industry, is seeking a skilled Frontend Web Software Engineer to join our Users, Listings & Platform Client Engineering team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Airbnb’s user and listing-related product flows. As a part of our dynamic team, you will collaborate with design, product, data science, legal, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional features and experiences used by millions worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Work with our engineering team to update our software to a modern technology stack.
- Resolve issues and ensure robust systems with our testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to build scalable and robust architecture.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in front end web development.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript/Typescript libraries and tooling, including React and GraphQL.
- Fluency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Experience in collaborating through code reviews and architecture discussions.
- Strong product sense and a passion for UX product development.
- Demonstrated ability to work with Product Management, Design, and other iOS, Android, and Web Engineers.
Education
- A college diploma or university degree is an asset.

Compensation
This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate of $63 to $75, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K plans.
