Join Zendesk as a Frontend Engineer
Are you passionate about creating seamless user experiences and building scalable web applications? Zendesk is looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to join our team and work on our cutting-edge AI Agent products. This role is pivotal in designing and developing our SaaS platform, which empowers users to design conversations and automate workflows.
Your Role
As a Frontend Engineer at Zendesk, you will:
- Develop and maintain the Zendesk AI Agents platform using TypeScript, React, and other modern libraries.
- Enhance our codebase by suggesting and implementing improvements in architecture, testing, CI/CD, and deployment.
- Build user-friendly applications that help clients design conversations and automate workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to scale our platform and introduce new features.
- Stay updated on industry trends and experiment with new tools and technologies to improve UX and reduce code complexity.
Who You Are
We are looking for a communicative, experienced engineer with a product mindset who takes pride in producing slick applications that are easy and fun to use. You should have:
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript and React or similar frameworks (Angular, Vue, etc.).
- Familiarity with web standards and the inner workings of browsers and the internet.
- Experience with server-side, infrastructure, and micro-frontends is a plus.
- A passion for engineering practices and a focus on the end-user experience.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.

The Interview Process
Our interview process is designed to be smooth and transparent:
- Intro chat with Talent Partner - 15 minutes
- Interview with Hiring Manager - 30 minutes
- Take-home task - 1-3 hours
- Technical Interview - 45 mins - 1 hour
- Final Interview with Hiring Manager - 30 mins
