About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team at Light & Wonder - iGaming. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing the next generation of our technology. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in frontend development, particularly with JavaScript, React.js, and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Head of Development, Frontend Lead, and CTO to develop and implement the development strategy.
Communicate effectively with key stakeholders across all levels of the business.
Work closely with the UX/UI team to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
Interact and collaborate with Backend Developers to optimize web designs.
Develop and set up automated tests to ensure high-quality web applications.
Maintain professional standards of technology content, display, and performance.
Implement a mobile-first approach to development within the team ethos.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Frontend Developer.
Strong technical skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders across all levels.
Proven experience with JavaScript, Node/NPM or Yarn, and React.
Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
Proficiency in working with REST APIs and WebSocket services.
Ability to build responsive designs with great UI.
Experience with dockerized pipelines is a plus.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field is an asset.

Skills

Core JavaScript and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
HTML5, CSS3 (including flexbox and animation).
Experience with WebGL/WebGPU Animation Frameworks.
Proficiency in Sass and responsive UI design.
Familiarity with unit testing and mocking frameworks.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Self-motivated with a strong capability for fast learning.
Technical understanding of web technologies.
Experience with versioning systems like Git.

Tools

React.js and Flux architecture (Redux).
ES6, TypeScript, Node.js, RxJS.
RESTful APIs, WebSocket.
Jest or other testing frameworks.
Modern JS tools (Babel, TypeScript, Webpack, Node.js, etc.).
Experience with Jira and Slack.
