Join Our Team as a Senior Frontend Engineer
At Erste Digital, we are looking for a talented and experienced Frontend Engineer to join our team and help us develop the George banking platform. As part of the largest banking group in Central and Eastern Europe, we are committed to providing human banking in digital times and building financial health for millions of customers.
Your Role
As a Frontend Engineer, you will:
- Implement new features for the George banking platform and modify existing ones as needed.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts to spec out new features.
- Initiate test coverage for existing features and ensure high-quality code through code reviews.
- Work with innovative and delightful designs to enhance user experience.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a candidate who:
- Has several years of experience building single-page web applications.
- Is fluent in web development technologies, particularly JavaScript (ES6), ReactJS, and Git.
- Has some knowledge of TypeScript and is skilled in refactoring and working with legacy code.
- Understands the value of TDD, BDD, and testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, and Jasmine.
- Enjoys improving the design of existing code and is mindful, empathetic, and self-aware.
