Job Overview
KPMG Hungary is seeking a talented Medior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Budapest. As a Medior Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing intuitive and responsive user interfaces. Your primary focus will be on creating and optimizing front-end components to enhance our corporate applications, with an emphasis on developing user interfaces for business-related Data Science applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop Frontend Solutions: Collaborate closely with backend developers, data scientists, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that our products meet the needs and expectations of our clients.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and creativity within the team.
- Client Communication: Communicate openly with clients to fully grasp their business goals and convert them into technical specifications.
- AI/ML Integration: Work together with cross-functional teams to incorporate AI/ML solutions into the products and applications.
- Stay Updated: Keep up with developments in software development trends to ensure our solutions are always state-of-the-art.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience coding in TypeScript and React framework (functional components, hooks).
- In-depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JSX, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Redux or other state management tools.
- Familiarity with UI frameworks and browser-based debugging and performance-testing software.
- Knowledge of software development methods and version control tools such as Git, and the entire CI/CD workflow from development to release.
- Knowledge of at least one cloud platform (Azure / GCP / AWS).
- Fluent in English and Hungarian.
- Experience with Vue.js 3 and Python backend development (Django, FastAPI).
- Experience with developing applications built around data science solutions.
