Productive is an end-to-end tool for agency management, providing agencies with a complete and real-time overview of their business. We are a fast-growing SaaS company with a team of 35 engineers building a comprehensive platform for digital agencies.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking experienced JavaScript engineers to join our Invoicing Team. This role involves working on Productive’s frontend architecture, focusing on developing features related to a company’s finances. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of industry experience in building frontend applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and Developing: Own product features from planning to deployment.
- Testing and Metrics: Write and maintain automated tests, and use metrics to inform technical decisions.
- Deployment: Deploy to production several times a week, following our release process.
- Knowledge Sharing: Build a knowledge base for the team and review pull requests.
- Technical Support: Provide support to colleagues as you become more familiar with the product.
Invoicing Team Focus
The Invoicing Team is responsible for features that help companies track their cash flow, including:
- Invoices: Create, edit, and track invoices sent to clients.
- Payments: Monitor incoming cash flow.
- Payment Reminders: Automated reminders for clients.
- Documents: Manage proposals, invoices, reports, and other documents.
- Billing & Subscriptions: Manage account billing, seat count, and payment plans.

About You
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have a strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and web development.
- Are experienced with at least one frontend stack (React, Angular, Ember, Vue, etc.).
- Have some knowledge of JS testing libraries such as Mocha, Jasmine, QUnit.
- Are interested in educating others and helping the team grow.
- Embrace principles like KISS, YAGNI, DRY, and SOLID.
- Are driven to improve their code every day.
