About the Role
As a Senior Frontend UI Engineer at Sandhill Markets, you will be tasked with developing and enhancing the user interface of our next-gen platform designed to live stream finance. This role combines elements of early-stage investing with the excitement of livestreaming, akin to platforms like Twitch and Robinhood.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the frontend architecture using CSS, HTML, TypeScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Enhance user experience by implementing effective UX/UI designs that are intuitive and engaging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend solutions with backend systems, ensuring seamless functionality across all platforms.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and improve the interface.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in frontend development and UX/UI design.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in frontend development.
- Proficient in CSS, HTML, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong understanding of user experience design and user interface design principles.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Location and Workplace
The initial period of employment may be remote, but the role will eventually require relocation to Southern California (Orange County). Assistance with relocation will be provided if necessary.
