Responsibilities
- Design and build performant, beautiful, and usable interfaces.
- Foster a culture of upholding industry-leading UX.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve customer needs.
- Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems to allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and team.
- Recruit, interview, and develop interview questions while fostering a culture of excellence, velocity, and humility.
- Inspire and mentor less experienced engineers and interns.
Candidate Profile
- 3+ years of frontend engineering experience.
- Performance motivated by delivering customer value.
- Experience leading large multi-quarter efforts demonstrating tangible customer or business impact.
- Passion for user experience and design and an understanding of front-end architecture.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or VueJs/Ember).
- Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
- Prior experience in an early-stage startup environment is a plus.
Workplace Type
This position may be remote, hybrid, or in-person. Treehouse maintains office locations in San Francisco and Chicago.
