About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Mobile UI Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in creating engaging and intuitive mobile app interactions that delight our users. You will work closely with our design team to brainstorm and prototype new interactions, ensuring that our mobile applications are not only functional but also provide a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Create Mobile App Interactions: Develop mobile app interactions with 60fps gestures, ensuring smooth and responsive user experiences.
- Build Animations: Design and implement delightful animations with the right amount of bounce and easing to enhance user engagement.
- Prototype New Interactions: Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and prototype new user interactions.
- Develop User Interfaces: Build pixel-perfect user interfaces for both iOS and Android devices, ensuring consistency and quality across platforms.
What We're Looking For
- Craftsmanship: You take pride in your work and are committed to delivering delightful experiences to users.
- Interaction Design: You have a strong understanding of interaction design and can bring your ideas to life.
- Animation Expertise: You have a keen eye for how animations should feel and can fine-tune details like acceleration and deceleration.
- Gesture Recognizers: You have a deep understanding of gesture recognizers and can implement them effectively.
- Programming Skills: You have a strong grasp of at least one programming language, with a preference for Swift or React Native.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience building mobile applications in React Native or Swift.
- Gesture and Animation: 1+ years of experience in shipping production-quality gestures and/or animations in mobile apps.
- Product Design: A background in product design is a bonus.
