About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Smartz Inc, you will be pivotal in bridging the gap between the front-end and back-end of our software applications. This role involves working across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth. You will develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements. Additionally, you will assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring application performance, uptime, and scale while maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
Responsibilities
- Work across the full stack, building solutions that enable positive user experiences and business growth.
- Develop new features and infrastructure in support of business and project requirements.
- Lead new projects from conceptualization to deployment.
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale.
- Maintain high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.
- Adhere to agile development methodologies.
- Design and develop APIs, ensuring cross-platform optimization and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and other team members.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with server-side frameworks like Spring Boot or similar.
- Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue JS.
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building large-scale software applications.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience in unit/integration testing.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
