Job Overview
Join the Nationaal Archief as a Senior Full Stack Developer and play a pivotal role in preserving and making accessible the cultural heritage of the Netherlands. This position is based in our dynamic team in The Hague, where you will be involved in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our digital platforms, including the Nationaal Archief website.
Responsibilities
- Develop, build, and maintain new functionalities for our digital platforms.
- Work closely with the development team and information managers on the Nationaal Archief website, which serves as an online study room.
- Perform bug fixes, implement releases, and ensure a stable and secure environment.
- Monitor logs, dashboards, and server capacity to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate within a subteam of about 6 members, maintaining a balance of disciplines such as front-end, back-end, and UX design.
- Promote self-organization within the team, discuss impediments with the Scrum Master, and continuously seek improvement.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Proficiency in PHP (Drupal), Angular, TypeScript, and SCSS.
- Experience with CI/CD, GIT, pipelines, and container technology like Docker.
- Familiarity with code review, test-driven development, and writing tests.
- Fluent in Dutch.
