Job Overview
Join the Nationaal Archief as a Senior Back-end Developer specializing in Go, and contribute to the digital transformation of historical data accessibility. This role is pivotal in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our digital platforms to ensure they meet the evolving needs of our users.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new functionalities for our digital platforms using Go.
- Collaborate with the development team and information managers to ensure smooth system operations.
- Utilize APIs and other back-end solutions to process and make digital archives searchable.
- Promote self-organization within the team, discuss obstacles with the Scrum Master, and collaborate on continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate leadership and ownership over the quality of solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Back-end Developer with in-depth knowledge of a back-end language, preferably Go.
- Minimum of 4 years in software development.
- Experience in an Agile environment, ideally with Scrum.
- Fluent in Dutch with excellent communication skills.
- Analytical, solution-oriented, and independent in planning and execution within Scrum Sprint planning.
