Join the Belastingdienst as a Full Stack Developer
Contribute to the exciting transition of the Schenk- en Erfbelasting department at the Belastingdienst in Apeldoorn. This year, we are moving towards container hosting and Java 17, making strides towards service-oriented architecture and embracing DevOps. As a full stack developer, you will actively participate in this transformation and have the opportunity to further develop your skills and knowledge.
Your Role at Belastingdienst
You will work within an Agile team consisting of test automation engineers, developers, analysts, and a scrum master. Together, you will prepare our application, which processes tax returns, for the future. Your feature team will roll out monthly releases for the Schenk- en Erfbelasting department's systems. Your tasks will stem from government proposals, legislative changes, annual adjustments, rationalization, and infrastructure changes. Priorities within these topics are set and placed on a roadmap that you and your colleagues work on daily. The work is determined by your team in consultation with the product owner and business owner, established per Program Increment and executed in five 2-week sprints.

What We Are Looking For
- You have an HBO work and thinking level.
- You have SCJP/OCPJP and several additional Java certificates or are willing to obtain them.
- You have at least 3 years of experience developing in Java Enterprise Edition.
- You are knowledgeable in Angular 14, Java 17, JEE 7, DB2, REST, and SOAP, and tools like IntelliJ, Jenkins, SonarQube, Git, Bitbucket, Maven, JUnit 5, and Mockito.
- You are proficient with CI/CD, JMS, JPA, and EJB.
- You have experience with DevOps and Openshift (preferred).
- You are fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
