Role Overview
As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Orbit, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our Logistics Operating System designed to optimize operations and automate workflows. Your focus will be on crafting smooth and intuitive user interfaces that align with our design ethos of clarity in design and thought. You will dive deep into our tech stack, which includes TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Amazon Web Services.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, robust, and scalable software solutions.
- Work on distributed systems and event-driven design.
- Engage in best practices like test-driven development, automated testing, pair programming, and code reviews.
- Be involved in the entire software lifecycle, from concept and analysis through architecture and testing.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional, agile team environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with frameworks like Zod and tRPC.
- Strong background in AWS or similar technologies.
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
- Fluent in English or German.
Bonus Points
- Practical experience with AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, and EventBridge.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly CDK and SST.
