About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Carriers & Drivers department. This role is based in Berlin, Barcelona, or Madrid, and offers a hybrid work environment. You will be part of the Asset Planning team, developing a logistics platform to manage and schedule assets like trucks, trailers, and drivers efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Innovate: Participate in developing new solutions, brainstorm ideas, solve complex problems, and transform them into actionable designs. Create proof of concepts and technical design documents.
- Ownership and Leadership: Take ownership of team components and libraries, lead architectural designs, and guide projects from inception to completion.
- Collaboration and Quality Assurance: Work in an agile team environment, create documentation, enhance test automation, and drive quality across the stack.
- Architectural Growth: Develop a robust event-driven microservice architecture and micro-frontend framework, improving engineering standards and processes.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with product managers to design and plan features aligned with business goals.
- Community Engagement and Mentorship: Engage in developer communities, promote best practices, and mentor junior developers.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven Experience: Hands-on experience in designing and developing event-driven architectures and asynchronous systems, particularly with microservices.
- Proficiency in Cloud Technologies: Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Strong Programming Skills: Proficient in Typescript, Node.js, and a front-end framework, preferably Vue.js.
- CI/CD and Infrastructure Automation: Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment practices and infrastructure as code.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Terraform and Kafka.
- Familiarity with Fastify and CI/CD integration using Gitlab.
