About the Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer at MNTN, you will be pivotal in designing and building a robust marketing platform that reaches the right audience, anywhere, anytime. You will develop high volume services that are reliable at scale and optimize big data solutions using open source frameworks. This role involves collaboration with Product and Project Leads to explain complex technical issues and enhance existing products.
Responsibilities
- Design and build a robust marketing platform.

- Optimize and enhance existing products.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of Rust development experience.
- 2+ years of experience writing SQL queries and designing database tables.
- Experience with Kotlin, Python (preferred).
- Knowledge of modern design patterns.
- Experience with Microservice style architecture.
- Experience using Cloud hosting solutions (K8, Istio, etc.).
- Experience using GIT.
- Knowledge of HTTP lifecycle.
- Knowledge of DRY, BDD, and how to write effective unit & functional test cases.
- Comfortable in a Linux/UNIX environment.
- Experience on AWS, GCP, or other cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Dynamodb, Redis (preferred).
