Job Overview
Deltek is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with expertise in Java and JavaScript to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing robust technology solutions that meet the needs of our project-based business clients. You will be responsible for understanding company needs to define system specifications, planning and designing the structure of technology solutions, and collaborating with the engineering team to deliver complex features.
Key Responsibilities
- System Design and Architecture: Understand the end-to-end architecture of the product and design components that align with company needs.
- Technical Leadership: Evaluate and manage technical processes, driving new product and service offerings in customer adoption.
- Innovation and Development: Work on next-gen applications and strategic mandates, ensuring consistency, governance, and standards around product architecture, technology, and tooling choices.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with product team SMEs on relevant initiatives and address technical concerns, ideas, and suggestions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years in technical solution engineering, with a proven record in a startup or e-commerce ecosystem within a high-growth environment.
- Technical Skills: Experience with microservice or micro frontend architecture, SaaS delivery models, and open-source software.
- Cloud Expertise: Experience with AWS is an asset, but any cloud infrastructure platform such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud is a strong starting point.
- Best Practices: Adopt industry best practices in all projects, including TDD, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Ownership: Desire and capability to take ownership of an application’s stack, quality, development, deployment, and tooling.
Work Environment
This is a remote position, allowing you to work off-site while collaborating with a global team of industry experts.
