Job Overview
Basecamp Consulting and Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in developing software and specialized utility programs, analyzing user needs, and supporting the development of software solutions for client use. The position is based in Reston, Virginia, with a hybrid work model allowing for 1-2 days a week on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performing microservice applications.
- Lead major projects, developing detailed and robust design, code, test, and implement proposed systems.
- Develop technical solutions and document the solution architecture and design using standard design tools.
- Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
- Design, implement, or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
- Create maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using software development best practices and coding standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in development, design, and solution implementation.
- Full-stack software development experience with Java and JEE technologies.
- Strong design and development experience of Microservices and Restful API in an AWS and Docker platform.
- Experience with container build and deployment and with PostgreSQL and other various AWS RDS databases.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks such as AngularJS, jQuery, ReactJS, and Express/Node.js.
- Experience working on Agile projects and strong knowledge of Agile terminology.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, JQuery, Ajax, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
