Job Description
Postscript is redefining marketing for ecommerce companies by introducing SMS as an entirely new channel for ecommerce stores to engage, retain, and convert their customer base. We are backed by Greylock, Y Combinator, and other top investors, and are growing fast. We are looking for a motivated Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Fondue team, responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the Fondue Cashback product line.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices in TypeScript using Node.js, backed by MongoDB and other NoSQL datastores in an AWS environment.
- Participate in the development of a performant and feature-rich Cashback offering.
- Work in a fully remote position across a global team, preferably in EST hours.
- Engage in modern SDLC practices, including Agile methodologies.
- Build scalable systems that accommodate evolving business strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in TypeScript (Node.js).
- Experience in engineering SaaS products on a cloud platform (2+ years).
- Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Based in EST time zone (or CST and open to working early morning hours).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Passionate about impact at scale and problem-solving.
- Experience in ecommerce and/or payments is optional but beneficial.
- Experience leading projects and delivering end-to-end solutions.
