About the Role
As a Senior Fullstack Developer at T-Digital by Deutsche Telekom, you will be a key member of the Login & Access Hub team. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a seamless, secure, and intuitive customer login experience across Deutsche Telekom services. This role involves working on complex login systems that support over 70 million logins and 15 million unique active users daily, across critical customer platforms such as TV, email, Customer Center, and OneApp.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Spring Boot for backend services, and Angular, JSF, and PrimeFaces for frontend interfaces.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers to transform designs into effective code, and collaborate with product managers to refine requirements.
- Code Reviews: Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Software Architecture: Develop and operate complex software architectures, including microservices and REST APIs, ensuring seamless integration across backend, middleware, and frontend.
- Test Automation & CI/CD: Implement and manage automated testing frameworks (e.g., jUnit, Cucumber) and build/deployment pipelines using GitLab.
- Containerization and Cloud Management: Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for deployment, manage cloud environments, and monitor application performance with tools such as Graylog and Grafana.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in backend development with Java (Spring Boot) and frontend development with Angular.JS, JavaServer Faces (PrimeFaces).
- Proficiency in Node.js and comprehensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Strong knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or MongoDB and ORM (Prisma).
- Experience in test automation using tools like jUnit, RestAssured, jBehave/Cucumber, and J-Meter.
- Experience in designing, developing, and operating complex software architectures (microservices, loose coupling) and APIs (REST, messaging).
