Your Impact
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at PayPal, you will be the architect of our global payment platform. You will design, develop, and optimize core systems that power millions of transactions daily, delivering innovative solutions that delight customers and drive business success.
Your Day-to-Day
- Architect and Implement: Develop robust full-stack systems.
- Optimize Performance: Enhance system performance and reliability.
- Mentor: Guide junior engineers in their development.
What You Need to Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of full-stack development experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue).
- Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and knowledge of the payment processing or financial services industry.
Our Work Environment
PayPal offers a balanced hybrid work model with 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace. This ensures you have the benefits and conveniences of both locations.
