Your Role and Impact

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will be a key architect of our global payment platform. You will design, develop, and optimize core systems that power millions of transactions daily. Your work will deliver innovative solutions that delight customers and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement large-scale Fullstack solutions.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent within the team.
• Drive technical excellence and best practices across projects.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and QA teams to deliver world-class experiences.

What You Need to Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of Fullstack development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience in building large-scale applications.
• Exposure to SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, including data architecture and SQL/PL-SQL development skills.
• Extensive experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience applying software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GraphQL or similar API technologies.
• Contributions to open-source projects.

Our Work Environment

PayPal offers a balanced hybrid work model, with 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace. This ensures you have the benefits and conveniences of both locations.
