The Role
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a backend focus, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the core service architecture of our platform. This includes developing robust APIs and SDKs that integrate seamlessly with front-end systems and blockchain components. Your expertise will drive the development of a middle layer that ensures efficient interaction between user interfaces and underlying blockchain technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of backend services, APIs, and SDK integrations.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and smart contract engineers to align with overall system architecture.
- Design, implement, and maintain SDKs across various programming languages including TypeScript, Go, and Python.
- Facilitate integration with external service providers such as payment gateways, wallet services, and other blockchain-related functionalities.
- Establish and uphold best practices for secure, stable, and scalable application development.
- Contribute to the open-source community by applying best practices in software development and documentation.
Who You Are
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- You have 5-7+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on backend services.
- Your experience includes extensive work with open-source projects and community engagement.
- You possess a deep understanding of blockchain technologies, web3, and cryptocurrency.
- You are a proactive team player with excellent communication skills, capable of leading projects and mentoring junior team members.
Location and Workplace
This position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a hybrid work arrangement allowing flexibility between working on-site and remotely.
