About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Parabola, you will be a pivotal member of our engineering team, driving the development of greenfield features and reinforcing our technical foundation. You will work with a unique flow-based calculation engine that demonstrates high throughput and availability.
What You'll Do
- Partner with product managers and designers to implement new product functionality from start to finish.
- Collaborate with a small-but-mighty group of engineers with a wide array of backgrounds and areas of expertise.
- Consult with the Customer Experience team to solve unique customer problems and find out where our product should grow next.
- Write Python, React, and Redux code in a mature TypeScript codebase.
- Build and extend our core platform, from database schema to API design.
- Implement the logic behind the steps that make up Parabola flows.
- Optimize our services for scalability, stability, and observability as our customer base grows and our product becomes more sophisticated.
- Help our team define processes and practices that will serve us for years of growth and success.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of full-stack experience working in a team-based, high-uptime, continuously-delivered codebase.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- A dedication to engineering craft, ensuring stability, security, and maintainability of your work.
