About the Role
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Density, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative web applications and APIs that redefine workplace experiences. You will leverage real-time sensor data to create software that enhances how people interact with their environments, focusing on space utilization and workday optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Fullstack Development: Develop and maintain fullstack web applications using Go, React, and Python. Focus on both frontend and API development to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
- Code Quality and Testing: Ensure high code quality through comprehensive unit testing and adherence to best practices in testing and automation.
- Version Control and CI/CD: Manage branching, merging, and release workflows using Git. Design and automate deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions for seamless CI/CD.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Work within the AWS environment to manage cloud infrastructure, write deployment scripts, and utilize AWS services for performance optimization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business and product stakeholders to translate pain points into innovative software solutions. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Problem Solving: Tackle complex problems across the tech stack, adapting to new challenges and technologies as they arise.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience: 5+ years in fullstack development with strong command of React, Python, and ideally Go.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and experience in deploying and scaling applications in a cloud environment.
- Frontend Skills: Proficiency in modern frontend development with React and TypeScript, focusing on building intuitive, responsive interfaces.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies or challenges.
- Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Mindset: A self-starter with a generalist mindset, capable of wearing multiple hats in a smaller company environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: €150,000 - €225,000 annually.
- Equity: May be provided as part of the compensation package.

Work Environment
This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence in San Francisco, CA, three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
