VergeSense is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our software engineering team. This is a pivotal role where you will contribute to the development of our core Occupancy Intelligence Platform, which is essential for our clients to optimize their workspace usage.

Role Overview
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will:
- Work on the core VergeSense Occupancy Intelligence Platform, built with React, Ruby/Ruby on Rails, TimescaleDB, and Snowflake.
- Operate in a multi-cloud environment using AWS and Azure.
- Develop customer-facing features, including visualizations and analytics dashboards.
- Manage data transfer, aggregation, and storage processes.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and webhooks for customer data interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical roadmaps and collaborate with product teams to shape the overall product strategy.
- Serve as a strategic partner to leaders across the organization, driving business impact through feature delivery.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
- Expertise in OOP and API design patterns, particularly RESTful services.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/React and Ruby/Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL at scale.
- Familiarity with time-series data is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for writing clean, high-quality, and maintainable code.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
