Overview
BigBear.ai is actively seeking a Senior JavaScript Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for developing high-performance applications that integrate front-end UI with backend API services. The position is based in Washington, DC, and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring presence in the Crystal City, VA office 2-3 days per week.
What You Will Do
- Employ software development techniques and methodologies to solve analytical challenges in national security.
- Automate manual processes using your software development skills.
- Design and develop specialized user solutions, applications, and databases using a hybrid Agile approach within a DevOps environment.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and databases.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and launch new features, ensuring code integrity and organization.
What You Need To Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including data structures, closures, and scope.
- Experience with React hooks, state management, Node.js, and SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud architectures, particularly AWS (GovCloud/C2S), and web managed services.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
What We'd Like You To Have
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud message APIs.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools like Mocha, NUnit, and TestNG.
- Experience with DevOps environments and public keys and digital certificates.
