About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Gladly, you will be at the forefront of designing and coding innovative, scalable, and fault-tolerant applications across the technology stack within the Gladly product. You will provide technical guidance and mentorship in software engineering best practices while demonstrating these as an individual contributor. You will work closely with small, nimble, cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, designers, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Code: Develop innovative, scalable, and fault-tolerant applications across the technology stack.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship in software engineering best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, designers, and business teams.
- Project Lifecycle: Participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle, from ideation to release to measurement and iteration.
- Learning Opportunities: Move between teams and learn other technologies.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience, with some leadership or mentorship experience.
- Strong teamwork skills and a customer-centric, product-focused mindset.
- Competence with data structures, algorithms, software design, and cloud architectures.
- Willingness to work across the technology stack.
- Operational expertise with robust observable solutions and actionable monitoring.
- (Bonus) Experience with Go, Kafka, Typescript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Snowflake, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS.
Compensation
- Base salary: €134,000 to €186,000 per annum
