Ubisoft is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our multidisciplinary HQ AI Programs team. This team is dedicated to supporting corporate functions and Global Publishing departments in implementing ambitious AI projects. Key Responsibilities

• Research and Development: Stay up to date with the latest research literature and translate research papers into operational code. Implement and customize algorithms as needed.
• Code Quality: Write, optimize, and produce high-quality code that can run at scale, using modern best practices. Share your work with the open-source community when possible.
• Model Deployment: Ship models or prediction pipelines to production in our internal or public cloud infrastructure.
• Project Ownership: Take ownership of the projects you build, pushing them forward with strong autonomy and creativity, while considering production environment constraints.
• Experimentation: Adopt a "try hard, fail fast" mindset. Be ready to tackle new papers or open-source repositories with messy code.
• Infrastructure Development: Develop and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines and infrastructure.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in machine learning engineering or a related field, with a proven track record of deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Proficient in Python, with experience in a lower-level language being a plus.
• Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Understanding of microservice-based architectures. Experience with REST APIs and model deployment using Kubernetes in the cloud is a big plus.
• Strong communication skills, with English being mandatory.
