AI Benchmark Engineer

About the Role

SiPearl is seeking a highly motivated AI Benchmark Engineer to join our AI team. You will work closely with Etienne Renault, our Compiler Team Leader, to evaluate, port, and optimize AI applications for our architecture. Your role will involve estimating the performance of the next generation of high-performance chips developed at SiPearl and participating in the optimization of AI frameworks and workflows to exploit heterogeneous memories and specificities of Arm architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, port, and optimize AI applications for SiPearl's architecture.
Estimate the performance of next-generation high-performance chips.
Optimize AI frameworks and workflows for Arm architectures.
Collaborate with other teams to guide the development of new optimizations.
Improve the overall performance of AI and HPC workloads.
Collaborate with customers and external partners from industry and academia.
Contribute to collaborative projects.

Required Skills and Experience

5+ years of experience in benchmarking, performance analysis, and optimizing AI applications.
Strong background in machine learning and deep learning techniques, notably LLM.
Hands-on experience with deep learning toolkits such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Experience in using, implementing, training, fine-tuning, and optimizing foundation models or generative models.
Proven experience with Python/C++ programming, bash, and Linux.
Experience with ARM architecture and vectorisation.
Comfortable with parallel and distributed computing paradigms.
Familiarity with ML infrastructures, such as MLIR.
Experience with natural language processing, computer vision, or audio processing generative models.
Proven R&D experience.
Fluency in English is essential.

This role is open for our locations in France (Maisons-Laffitte, Massy, Grenoble, and Sophia Antipolis), Spain (Barcelona), and Germany (Duisburg).
