Join Our Team as a Lead Software Engineer, iOS
DraftKings Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead iOS Engineer to join our Mobile Platform team. This team is pivotal in building key components used across all of DraftKings' mobile applications for both iOS and Android. As a Lead iOS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in making technical decisions, developing new features, and maintaining high code quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop Systems and APIs: Create and maintain systems and APIs that power a rich set of applications used by a large and passionate group of users every day.
- Feature Development: Develop new features, iterate on current systems, and ensure high code quality.
- Agility and Scalability: Balance the need for agility with the need for scalability, as we roll out products quickly and need a team that can pivot at a moment’s notice.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Team to understand project scope and define technical requirements.
- Mentorship: Mentor and grow junior team members in best practices in research and development.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in iOS development.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Swift/SwiftUI, with a background in developing custom views and animations.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of OOP principles and design patterns, native operating system capabilities, app signing, and deployment processes.
- API Integration: Experience in consuming REST APIs and using Dependency Injection.
- Debugging Skills: Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Additional Skills: Familiarity with functional programming and experience with JavaScript and React is a major advantage.

Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range: €132,000 - €165,000 annually
