Overview
Join Availity, the nation's largest health information network, as a Senior Node.js/Kotlin Software Engineer. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on a dynamic team responsible for developing solutions that optimize the healthcare communication landscape. With a focus on backend development, you will be instrumental in enhancing our platform that supports the upcycling of clinical data.
Responsibilities
- Participate in daily stand-ups and bi-weekly sprint cycles.
- Design and develop scalable systems following best practices.
- Write maintainable code that is easy to understand.
- Review code written by other team members.
- Collaborate with and mentor team members.
- Create standards for and document the systems you help build.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficient in Node.js and Kotlin with JDK 17.
- Experience with TypeScript, AWS, Git, GitHub, and Terraform.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Mocha and Selenium.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Experience with workflow engines, preferably Temporal.io.
