Senior React Developer
iOAbout the Role
Are you passionate about developing the front-end of web applications used by hundreds of thousands of users? Do you have a heart for React and speak JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, GIT, and SQL fluently? If so, this opportunity is for you. As a Senior React Developer at iO, you will program robust, elegant front-ends for our international clients, ensuring web products function cross-browser and cross-device in React. If you have an interest in back-end development, there are opportunities to contribute there as well.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the front-end of web applications using React.js.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Software Developers, Architects, UX Designers, and Project Managers.
- Ensure web products are cross-browser and cross-device compatible.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and major team meetings at our Antwerp campus.
- Take responsibility for your daily tasks, promoting innovation and independence.
- Contribute to back-end development if interested.

Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a ReactJS or front-end developer.
- Proficient in React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, GIT, and SQL.
- Passionate about TypeScript and familiar with devtools.
- Detail-oriented with high standards for quality.
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented application development.
- Familiar with front-end tools and concepts like Cypress, CSS-in-JS, and BEM methodology.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
