About the Role
Are you a seasoned Java Developer with a knack for leading projects and guiding teams? iO is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Utrecht. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge in-house applications for high-profile clients such as Bol.com, Jumbo, KLM, and the Port of Rotterdam.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Development Projects: Take charge of development projects, ensuring high-quality code and innovative solutions.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and solutions.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing professional development through courses, certifications, and participation in the Open Source community.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ Years of Java Development: Proven experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST, and Microservices.
- Enterprise Experience: Experience working with or within enterprise organizations.
- Cloud Expertise: Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a strong advantage.
- Containerization: Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
