Senior Front-end Developer with React and GraphQL

About the Role

As a Senior Front-end Developer at Adhese, you will be an integral part of our Technology organization, contributing to the development and maintenance of our innovative AdTech platform. Your role will involve creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring optimal user experience and performance, and building a code base that is enjoyable to work in.

Key Responsibilities

• User Interface Development: Design and implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces. Collaborate with Product Designers (UX/UI) to translate design mock-ups into interactive web applications, ensuring consistent and effective implementation of design elements.
• Front-End Technology: Build dynamic and interactive user interfaces using standardized libraries and components. Implement and optimize performance for web applications, considering factors such as load times and responsiveness.
• Performance and Integration: Implement performance optimization techniques to ensure fast loading times and a smooth user experience. Collaborate with Back-end Developers to optimize data communication between the front-end and server-side components.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with colleagues across our Technology, Product, and Support organizations to exchange knowledge, share interpretation of requirements, and deliver high-quality software solutions. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and standards.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit and integration testing of front-end components to ensure the reliability and robustness of our platform. Debug and troubleshoot issues promptly, in collaboration with others.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for front-end code, ensuring knowledge transfer and ease of collaboration.
• Agility: Follow agile and lean ways of working with a focus on continuous improvement and effective change facilitation, closely aligned with your team and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Senior level experience as a Front-End Developer focused on high-performance web applications.
• Proficiency in HTML5/CSS and excellent understanding of JS libraries (React, styled-components).
• Experience with GraphQL (Apollo).
• Proficiency in user-centered design principles and UX practices and methodologies – design slicing expertise is essential.
• Familiarity with general security, testing best practices, system monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with deployment technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms like Azure.
• Familiarity with several of the following: REDIS, GITHUB, REST, KAFKA, Microservices architecture, Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum principles and belief in the strength of working according to the Agile Manifesto.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work from our offices (hybrid) two full days per week.
