Are you passionate about developing the front-end of web applications used by tens of thousands of users? Do you have a love for React and JavaScript, and are you also familiar with HTML5/CSS3? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at iO's Antwerp Campus.

What You'll Do

As a Senior React Developer, you will be instrumental in building solutions using React and the Next.js framework. You will develop robust, headless front-ends in a professional technical setup, prioritizing design systems, reusability, UX, and accessibility. You will work with headless data from Sitecore and other .NET projects to create solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing systems and databases.

You will be part of a 15-member team responsible for rebuilding and enhancing three major digital products for a leading Belgian energy company. In addition to development, the team also handles UX and UI.

Your Role

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using React and Next.js.
• Ensure high-quality code and design systems.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and other services.
• Mentor and guide less experienced developers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Why You're the Perfect Fit

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree and have at least 3 years of experience as a React or front-end developer.
• You have a background in a digital agency (a plus).
• You are proficient in React, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, and have experience with Sitecore (a plus).
• You have a keen interest in TypeScript and devtools.
• You have an eye for detail and set high standards.
• You have some knowledge of object-oriented application development.
• You are familiar with front-end tools and concepts like Storybook, CSS-in-JS, and unit testing.
• You communicate fluently in English and have experience working in an international team (a plus).
