As a Senior Software Developer, you will work cross-functionally with a team of innovative Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to deliver a world-class product to our users. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Build Features: Rapidly build end-to-end features from scratch for Loopio’s web platform.
- Proactive Development: Develop technology to prevent bugs, ensuring high-quality software.
- Customer Interaction: Gather detailed feedback from customers to create a user-centric experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Designers in an agile environment to bring features to life and iterate based on customer feedback.
- Mentorship: Mentor and coach other engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a knowledge-sharing environment.
- Technical Leadership: Lead technical design discussions and facilitate decision-making processes.
What You Bring
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Backend/API Expertise: Strong experience in PHP, Python, or Java.
- Frontend Skills: Solid understanding of React and JavaScript.
- Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL.
- API Design: Proficient in using and designing RESTful APIs.
- Mentorship: Experience mentoring other engineers through coaching and code reviews.
- Process Improvement: Passion for driving processes and improving software development productivity.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with Typescript, AWS, Cypress, Elasticsearch, and third-party app integration.
