Role Overview
As a Senior Software Developer specializing in Backstage, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of our developer portal. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless, user-friendly experience for our developer community.
Responsibilities
- Portal Development: Design and implement features for our developer portal using Backstage.
- Integration: Collaborate with internal teams to integrate various services and tools into the portal.
- Customization: Customize the portal to meet the needs of our developer community and align with our brand.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for APIs, SDKs, and other tools.
- Collaboration: Work alongside product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Feedback and Improvement: Gather and implement feedback to continually improve the portal.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in portal development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in software development, particularly with JavaScript and Backstage.
- Strong understanding of API design and web technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
