Overview
Join Ava Labs, a pioneering Web3 company, as a Senior Software Engineer focused on API Development. This role is crucial for building high-performance solutions that empower the Avalanche ecosystem. What You Will Do
- Build distributed, scalable, and highly performant APIs to support internal projects and the external Avalanche community.
- Partner with product teams to develop new features for the Avalanche Explorer, Core Wallets, and other blockchain applications.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to integrate blockchain-specific data pipelines.
- Design and build services around NFTs, DeFi, and blockchain gaming.
- Lead the team and set best practices for building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
What You Will Bring
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of backend development experience.
- 3+ years of experience building large-scale enterprise APIs.
- Strong decision-making skills for high throughput systems.
- Proficiency in Typescript/Node.js, familiarity with data pipelines, and experience with Golang is a plus.

Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range: $142,200 to $178,000 per year.
