About the Role

As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for the CDP APIs. You will work with a variety of programming languages, including Go, JavaScript, Ruby, TypeScript, Python, and Java. Your role will involve defining and maintaining clean and conformant HTTP REST API definitions using OpenAPI specifications.

You will also design, develop, and maintain ergonomic, open-source SDKs to interact with the CDP APIs. This includes authoring clear and concise documentation, building compelling sample applications, and interacting directly with customers to incorporate feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend systems using Go and JavaScript.
• Define and maintain REST API definitions using OpenAPI.
• Develop SDKs in Ruby, TypeScript, Go, Python, and Java.
• Author and maintain documentation to increase API adoption.
• Develop secure key management systems using Docker.
• Collaborate with various teams to externalize backend services.
• Interface with customers to improve APIs and SDKs.
• Build sample applications to demonstrate API value.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex fullstack issues.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.

What We Look For

• 5+ years of experience in backend and frontend software development.
• Mastery of Go and JavaScript; experience with Ruby, TypeScript, Python, and Java is a plus.
• Strong understanding of crypto wallets, cryptography, and blockchain protocols.
• Proven track record of designing and developing client-side libraries and SDKs.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and caching systems like Redis and Memcached.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
• Familiarity with AWS and containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of security best practices for financial systems.
