Join Monad Labs as a Senior Software Engineer
Monad Labs is on a mission to accelerate the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and enable decentralized applications to thrive. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. This role is pivotal in integrating the Monad blockchain with external systems such as JSON-RPC, indexers, wallets, bridges, storage, analytics platforms, and applications.
Responsibilities
- Integration: Work on integrating the Monad blockchain with various external systems and applications.
- Development: Utilize your expertise in low-level programming languages like C, C++, or Rust to develop high-performance backend solutions.
- Collaboration: Engage in technical discussions, reviews, and documentation to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Innovation: Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions that enhance the performance and scalability of the Monad blockchain.
Who You Are
- Experienced: You have at least 5 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on blockchain engineering at a Layer-1, Layer-2, or infrastructure project.
- Skilled: Proficient in backend engineering using low-level languages such as C, C++, or Rust.
- Communicative: Excellent communication skills and a willingness to participate in technical discussions.
- Problem Solver: Strong problem-solving skills with a practical and common-sense approach.
- Design-Oriented: Strong design skills with a focus on system design, appropriate abstractions, and maintainability.

Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Minimum full-time salary of $200,000. Final offer may vary based on experience and location.
