Join Our Team as a Senior Software Engineer
The Helper Bees is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a leader in the aging in-place platform, we empower older adults to live independently in their homes. Our technology bridges the care gap, providing essential services like meal delivery, lawn care, and transportation, integrated into Long-term Care and Medicare Advantage plans.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our tools and processes. You will work on multiple SaaS products, including web applications, a mobile app, and reporting integrations. Your work will have a high impact, and you will be challenged to design innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our codebases.
- Create new API / RESTful services to enhance existing functionality.
- Collaborate with a dedicated product team, including developers, product managers, and designers.
- Produce quality, testable, and maintainable code.
- Mentor and coach junior developers.
- Refine and improve development processes, including deployment and sprint planning.
- Debug complex issues and develop scalable software systems.
Performance Metrics
- Maintain a code quality score of at least 90%.
- Demonstrate effective technical leadership.
- Meet or exceed sprint goals and deadlines.
- Contribute to innovative solutions that improve product performance and scalability.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience with Python, C#, and TypeScript for server-side development.
- Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Django, .NET, React, Docker, Google Cloud, Azure, Postgres, MS-SQL, and React Native.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
Work Environment
