About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the foundations team at Invisible, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our engineering organization has a robust, scalable, and reliable foundation to build upon. This role involves working on our core API, optimizing and debugging GraphQL, and ensuring the smooth operation of our platform's base levels. You will also be involved in architectural changes and building tooling to support core platform functionality like authentication.

- Participate in technical reviews of solutions to platform-level issues
What We Need
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering well-tested code with significant business impact
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and having a team-wide impact
- Proficiency in backend technologies using Python web frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI, etc.)
- Experience with APIs leveraging GraphQL
- Knowledge of data management systems (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Kafka, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud deployment using Kubernetes (with observability)
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Experience working with fully remote teams is a plus

Compensation
- Base salary: $140,000
- Bonus target: $180,000
- Eligibility to participate in the company's equity plan
